Yip, right up there with needles under your fingernails. Go All Blacks!
Yes it isn't
Rugby bores me shitless. Completely sick of nothing else being on TV. Would be very happy to see all ball sports banned and replaced by motor sport.
I hope the all blacks loose to France so it all ends.
I dont mind the sport actually... but not every single game out there, I tend to keep an eye on the more important international matches (i.e. when South Africa are playing)
My cousin was a professional rugby player, and I know how much commitment and work it takes to be at that level... so yeah when the South african Jersey runs out I like to know who won, even though I dont watch anymore.
So not sure if its a love for the game or being patriotic though?
I have however noticed the NZ public/media are a lot more rugby focussed than SA... its all blacks left and all black rights... it seems its all we hear about at the mo.

I dont agree... it's not a balanced approach imo.
Rugby is forced down Kiwi kids throats at school and it keeps going in other ways into adulthood... it has become close to a national obsession.
But hey thats my opinion.
I suppose I dont undertsand as in SA its not the national sport... so its not the be all and end all... yes we have a GREAT team, but life does not stop when they fail, we support them and wish them well either way. I have heard family violence increases in NZ when the All Blacks lose... wtf??
As I said, balance is a good thing.
