Wellington - Wire Rope Barrier "Cheesecutter" ride.

    When: Sunday 11th November
Where: TSS, Cuba St, Alicetown, Lower Hutt & The carpark outside The Sandbar, Plimmerton.
    Departs 10:30am from each location

This ride will depart from two locations to allow as many people as possible to attend. It is intended that the riders then proceed to Parliament buildings as an orderly group ride. This ride will be marshalled (if I can get some volunteers). I have spoken to most of the bike shops in the Wellington region who have said they will all help advertise this ride as much as possible.

More details will be advised as soon as they are sorted. Volunteers to help marshal and advertise etc are greatly appreciated.

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

I'm happy to marshall Pop. I used to watch "Gunsmoke" with my grandpa. I know all about marshalling.

    Sounds like a plan.
Um...there prolly wont be any Pollies there on a Sunday - perhaps we could find out where the Min. of Transport lives and ride past his place on the way.
Or contact someone in the Opposition who wants a photo opportunity...?
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

One and a half thumbs up from me, Col -- thanks for volunteering. I'll repeat my offer of floor and garage space for anyone travelling far enough that riding here and back in one day is a pain in the arse.
