yeah, the ride to S/ford is going to be the lengthy boring part....

well ima be at bp at about 8:30 so i can have a pie and a coffee or two ,up nice and early just so i can get there to do that

as ive heard it come up a few times

Nope.. ALmost tried it on an organised road trip once but didn't do it in the end.... Don't think having the tube connected would be too comfy lol

Cops could be ok,there is a ride leaving Hawera to the Southwards museum leaving around 8.30 so you should pass at some stage.
