Most just call me 'Sanx'. Doesn't bother me one way or the other whether they use that or my real name. I introduce myself with both, though.

But then, my rego's SANX, website's sanx.org, email address is ...@sanx.org, etc etc

P.S. Always smiles before the full stop

You don't have to introduce yourself on a ride. They say to you "Oh, you must be skidMark!"

Pretty easy for me... I'm not too shy and my first name is my online handle... Mikkel

Yep, introduce self as scumdog first, later real name.

Most Kbers still call me 'scumdog' 'scummie' or sometimes just 'dog'

Other KBers - I use whatever they prefer, sometimes I use both their real and site names.

Good friends stab you in the front mate

    well said Chris

you and i have had our moments online too but as in my introduction; without the baggage of preconceived crap from the board, we got on fine in the real world.

i was particularly pleased to see both of our KTM's on that last Coro Loop ride.

Some of you seem to have misunderstood the introductory post. It's about preconceptions.

Never mind, it doesn't really matter and was just a talking point

I do not see the point of "hiding" or being another persona behind a computer screen. Life is life, you are responsible for your actions whether online or not. You are who you are, some may like it some may not. People change.

It is very sad to see the flaming and negativity that goes on here - (one of the reasons, I don't post a lot) its a shame, I do not see the point in it, it is not constructive nor helps anyone.
Some take it to heart, and others may miss meeting a good person and enjoying their friendship through life.

It is time to be proactive and not reactive. I am proud of who I have become as a person, my log on name is simply that, my name.

People have their reasons for what they do, however, right or wrong it may seem to another individual. A person is defined by what they choose to do with the information presented to them in life.

Life is definately not what it used to be.
    It is what it is
