    Compulsive liars

i met one of these in the weekend
saying he could pass ducati's up the inside on this hyosung, that his bike had flat slide carbs, and that when dragging sidewinder he had his front wheel up, until 3rd gear...
i have know a few of these kinda people, and i wanted some insight in to why they do it?
is it cause they cant handle their real life?
i have met some real bad ones that talk 90% lies..for no reason

    Yeah they're dickheads.

But as for me, everybody knows my bike can beat Gixxers -- round the outside everytime baby, can beat them off the traffic lights too. I did the full Coro loop in 45 minutes the other day, averaged about 220kph.

Of course it's all my mean tuning skills -- not everybody can make a CB250RS go that fast. It's got a 25.2:1 compression ratio which helps, as does the titanium Buddhist-monk-testicle-infused conrod (the original conrod wasn't up to 160bhp).

Honda wanted to sign me to be their next MotoGP star, apparently my CB250RS can get onto the grid due to certain exceptions and rules. I had to turn them down, though, I don't have the time these days what with all the women who want to get into my pants.

The really sad thing is I used to be like this. Not quite to the extreme that you guys have encountered but i'd try to look cool by "knowing" more than everyone else. I used to get caught out a fair bit. HARD habbit to break. The really good thing is now when I start saying something and realise it's not quite 100% true (unless i'm telling a funny story and a bit of exaggeration might help) then I stop and say sorry thats not right and I start all over again.

Yeah liars are so not cool man, I think its cause they have small penis.

Mine on the other hand is LARGE. So big infact when I was a baby they thought my mother had rooted a black man (as my member is black, but im fully white - best of both worlds).

Thats why my name is renegade "the wooly mamoth" master. Yeah, thats teleban wooly.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

The same reason you use to (and presumably still do) talk yourself up online, or post bullshit; To hopefully influence the opinion of another in a positive way because they feel that the truth would work to the contrary.

Well, if these people would just only lie about stuff that matters (their bikes, skills, WTFever). Problem is when you feel you can't count on anything important that they say.

I've tried flatting with one - good fella all around and I'm sure he had done some of the stuff that he claimed to. However, you catch someone out on a lie and you can not help but wonder how many of their extraordinary tales are actually true.

Had a friend way way back. He was a good sort, but I guess he found his life too boring compared to his imagination. So where I might get a crazy idea and will go "Try and imagine..." he'd go "So last week I got into this..." was fun enough. I think he kinda lost track of it at some point and he'd stop keeping his word and when I confronted him with it I guess he just shied away...
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Met a new colleague a couple years back who used to brag or was full of sh*t. One day he said that he drove a Mercedes SLK and I replied cool I used to drive one too and I started going details about the car which he started to go blank.

Since then I knew he was unreliable in his word. He got fired from the job a month later as obvisously something happened. I just cannot understand why do they need to tell lies. Just be truthful, honest and not try to be someone else. I am sure somewhere down the line people will find out.
