    Post RGV150 coming up

Hey there, ive only just signed up to these forums and they look pretty good. I have a 99 RGV150. It has been a good first bike as I used it for my learners but I think it is time for an upgrade . Anyone interested in buying for about $1500 in december as im going to get an FZR250. . If anyone has one just tell me, but im looking for a cheap one around $2800 and I preferably want a black and silver one. I also want some old race leathers dont care about scruffs, just want cheap ones. Cheers

    Gidday smittyboy.

    Welcome to kiwibiker.

You got a nice place to ride bikes in South Wairarapa.

You'll have to come over the hill and meet us all sometime.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Yeah, theres one problem with getting a ZXR as my mate already has one. My other mate has a CBR so the options are getting worse. FZR wont be so bad I don't think it will be a good upgrade.

Make sure you get a good check done on one, get the mechanic to take it for a spin. My bike has flatspots and it likes to gurgle and go no where/stall at low rpm. If he takes it for a ride he may be able to point out some potentially costly problems.

Yeah I haven't done the buller george yet but definitely planning on it aye. If any of you guys are keen some time next year that would be awesome. Me and my mates have: RGV150 (mine) , RG150, KR150, ZXR250, CBR250. The cops are getting to be a bit of a pain now though how do you guys deal with them?

How fast are the 150s and 250s? Might be getting either and since I hope to be racing in streetstock, speed is what I want.

Best way to deal with the cops? Don't get hassled by them.

Find yourself a really, really, twisty road where you can go as hard out as your ego or talent will let you go. Chances are if the road's twisty enough you'll never go over the limit.
