Lynda asked me to post and let everyone know that "I'm back safe and sound, but haven't yet had time to log onto the site".

I just can't wait to see the Ducati underwear!

Oh and she has also saidto say it was, "F**KING AWESOME"
and that I've seen the new bike I'm going to buy (in red, of course!!)

    Subject to (a) a good trade-in deal for the 800 and (b) Hamish's okay."

    And.....
"I priced titanium rearsets for the 1000, but at over $A7000, even I decided they were too pricey!! I also bought out the entire supply of Ducati t-shirts in Melbourne (well, according to Hamish anyway!!)"

I am the bestest girlfriend in the world, ever.

I know that he was hoping I was taking him to P.I. but I think by the time he arrived at my place on Friday evening he'd given up that it was going to happen. He was pretty happy! In fact, he said, "Let's go to Auckland NOW!" when I told him & it was about 8pm. I talked him into packing & getting some sleep first though.

And the look on his face when his best mate tapped him on the shoulder as we left the Melbourne International Terminal to have a ciggie was absolute class! Something like a cross between these => +

Glad to hear it all went to plan Slim.

By the sounds of it it's not something he's ever going to forget.

Or me! It was an awesome weekend.

Next time, we'll make sure to arrive on Friday. It was a bit disappointing missing all the Saturday racing, courtesy of a major customer service stuffup at Maui campervans.

    Tha's a LONG way.
I did the wedding in Briz week after GP thing (thanks Mark for organising it that way as he knew a couple of us would go to the GP first) but just hung around a couple of days in Melbourne checking eliz st. & caught a cheap Virgin flight to Brizzy. Driving would be a real drag & heinously boring esp. as the scenery is just burnt grass. Briz is real nice in October. Any later & Kiwis melt.
