Perhaps, but then again he'll be riding the 1200 dont forget, got this sinking feeling it'll be a Ducati white wash next year.

yeah the capacity could make all the difference as long as Ducati get their wish of being able to swap to a better piston. They think the stocker will fail under racing conditions and are trying to get a decent forged one passed by the powers that be...who also happen to be Italians, so I'd imagine it will happen.
