    A trip down mammory lane

So what happened to all the old tits of KB? Where are the lost boys?

Motu - The old grease monkey
Ixion - The calm voice of reason even though he's a chinker at heart
WINJA - Said what most people think
That white maori guy that rode the Hyosung (whats his name...Swan something?)
    Dafe
    Senseitive - Aaron Slights mate
PlacidFemme (I know where she is)
Crashe - Met her in person and she stopped posting
Zed (Come on mate, one toke and waking up next to DMNTD doesn't make you a bad person. We've all done it... okay, maybe not the DMNTD thing, but still)
    Texmo
    Lou Gardenbag
    SpudChucker
    Fish... the other one
    Dynamytus50
    SuperDave
    Speedie
    Dangermouse
    Beyond
    Bugjuice
    Assman
Sarge - Just his name upset most people
NC - WINJA's bit on the side
    Firefight
    StoneChucker
    SparkyBills

Sorry if I've missed anyone out. It's not out of a lack of respect, I've just got a terrible memory.

Please keep adding to the list and make sure you contact these people and that they post on this thread...even just to say hello for all times sake.

Fish changed his name. See if you can pick him out

Crashe... um... did you miss `that thread'? KB melodrama at its finest. Not long after that she disappeared. Also her bike suffered terminal engine failure around the same time.

Motu and Ixion still lurk in the dark hallways of Private Message; Ixion has been around rather more lately, can't speak for him of course, but perhaps the mod re-shuffle has something to do with his increased presence.

    Sparky Bills is still around.

You are clearly not wasting enough time here. Haven't amassed enough piles of gold yet?

This is going to be one of those nostalgic posts that drags on until itself becomes a part of it.

It's one of those internet cycle things. Godwin's probably got a law for it somewhere.

I saw that. I nearly fell off my chair. Welcome back, don't be shy (you never were).

Finn has a good point. It's far too quiet on here.
If you know these bods in person (get counselling first) then ask them to make a guest appearance from time to time.

As for long lost irritating names...sk8rboi the text lingualist took the prize. NO ONE ask him to return. Wasn't he the man who gave us gargre to park your sprotsbike in.
And who could forget the Dover.

Stonechucker - I still see Dave a bit. After the big accident in which he lost the use of his arm he had to give up riding.

And then UncleB - his nextdoor neighbour, mentor and good friend died nearly a year ago and Dave (who was a shy bugger at the best of times) sort of moved away from bikes.

    He's doing okay.

You also forgot wkid_one. Where the hell are you Dan?

As for Spudchucker - he's been here recently. Just not easily found...

NC - yes, didn't Ruth disappear down the South Island on Speedie's old TLR? Did she ever come back?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

He must be still around. He last logged on a couple of weeks ago.

I think that fateful weekend last year affected a hell of a lot of us Dave.

Beyond's still around, just real busy with a new job. Posts occaisionally. Sarge works for Sulco, he's in Aucks and was posting a lot until fairly recently, Sulco are moving at the mo so he'll be very busy. Drop him a PM. He was doing okay last I heard.

    You're not wrong there mate.

Over time people come and go, their priorities change etc. Some of the above have moved to other websites like the adventure riders one or sportsbike one (where they refer to KB as the "other" site) Others have just got busy doing other stuff. Thats life.

There's another wkid_one. Dan was one of the original KBers, and led the post count for quite a while. The original KB Forum Whore, you might say.
