New seat cover - DIY Failure

    Hey all

I've spent two hours trying to staple a new seat cover to my KTM and am officially raising the white flag. I'll have to add upholstery to my list of things I can't do... The seat has a raised lip that goes to the top pf the petrol tank which makes it a real bitch to smooth out any wrinkles - plus my piece of material is super gripy and annoying stuff to work with.

Luckily I haven't mangled the new seat cover too much. Can anyone help me out here please in Akl region, or point me in the right direction?

    Cheers!

Ive been an upholsterer for 25 years- And I have a KTM! Put it in the sun, staple the front and the rear first, then staple the sides at the gusset(where the seat rises up the tank) then staple up the rest of it. Use no more than 6mm staples and pm me if you have dramas!
Retired- just some guy with a few bikes......

Ha! Yeah... When I asked the guy who sold me the material on fitting (Trademe), he said "just staple it on, no worries".

Cool thanks. I'll give it one more go as per instructions.
