Don't worry Al, apparantly Kawasaki have contracted Triumph to show them how it's done, begged em to use the factory even.

Excellent night out, great to get back on the Daytona, almost forgot what a good machine it is, demands a lot of concentration and style but it started to come back after awhile. Ashhurst cafe was very pleasant.

'Nibbled' would be more the word you were looking for.

Mint ride tonight. Katman would not have been impressed but it was fun and everyone made it back in one piece.

Those damn Hondas finding shortcuts need a talking too.

Was good being out with the Daytona again. Saddle is mint. (ish.. east side still shoddy) and the track needs some more work on it already.
Still, good night for a ride and nice company. Cheers guys.
Ok yes agreed, nibbled is a better word. Took the whole track for me to decide to have a go, that last straight came just at the right time...

Oh and look what is already to go for tomorrow

Ha ha.. Indeed! you were riding better than me tonight for sure, could'nt seem to get my groove on but ya get that I guess. Once you get those Conti's on you may well find your bike might come alive too, good tyres.
Still some work to do after the conti's on mate. I'm not happy about the rattle she is making higher up in the rev range and cowboys and I discovered some worn fork bushes up in the headset... I knew I wasn't imagining that vibration. Looks like some I'll be pulling her apart... YAY!!!

sweet. it will look good with that new*ish Pilot Power on it tomorrow. Yes those cracks are surposed to be there.

On the up side I am no longer looking for a rear for mine.

Nah I'm not worried and I know my bike's in good hands. Those bloody Kawasaki contractors forgot to torque the cam cover down and water has been seeping into the engine. Just lucky it's a Triumph and they laugh in the face of water "Hah, is that all you got"

Sounds like you guys had a good ride tonight chewing on Kwaka's and all. Thumbs up, they deserve it!

Well that explains a lot. So a Triumph is a wanna be kwaka or the cheaoper version of the kwaka (since most have a cylinder missing) A bit like the new Elba is F&P,s cheap range of appliances Kawasaki thought they would make a cheaper version and rebadge it. Maybe they are the factory rejects
    It all makes sense now

I knew something like that would be coming. If they did rebadge it, they did a pretty good job, cause none of my letters have fallen off!
