You could give the viffer to me. I'll look after it. Honest

A good turn out tonight. One cruiser but no Hogleys.

Sorry for not making it to the Cafe but I was very concerned there might be a downpour. I hope you didn't scare all those blondies at the other table Bonez.

My bikes steering alot more neutral now with the old shock fitted.

Bloody good ride, and great to meet more of the locals. I really need to do that Apiti loop more often, it's good twisty experience. Just need to find a better return route - that Apiti-Cheltenham-Feilding section is a little lacking in the excitement. And thanks for hanging out with the slowpoke Bonez, I'm happy to ride at my own pace but I wasn't exactly sure of the route - as you saw!

Only two real pucker moments - one on a straight bit as a farm worker pulls up to the edge of the road on a quad.... and keeps going. "Surely she's seen us and is going to stop?" thinks I - nope, had to haul on the anchors, by the time she stopped I was already slow enough to go around her. And she was looking right at us the whole time!

And one LH corner onto one of the narrow one-lane bridges I was a little fast (for me!) and a little wide and met a car coming the other way. No great drama except the mottled pattern on the bridge made me think it was all loose gravel. Turns out it's just the colour of the surface texture, but had me worried for a split second. I need to watch my line on those blinder corners - if there had been gravel on that bridge (as there are on some of the others) it could have been slightly more exciting.

but you made it there and back and no damage to the bikes which is good.

Gave the 9 a bit of a nudge tonight. Been a while since I gave it a workout and can confirm that even over 100000km it still acts like its a young-en.

    Great entertainly ride.

    cheers

No worries. Good to see the Hyosung flag been raised yet again. Looks good in red (que Monie) It seems that there's at least one on almost each ride lately.

Cheers for the ride last night guys. It was a lot of fun! Special thanks to Barry for the Kerry Wallis info. It turns out that Kerry is also an expert with the tuning software I have, so he may have some really useful information.
If I don’t see you guys on the road this weekend, I’ll no doubt see you sometime after Easter.:spudwave:
Oh, before I forget. Nice jacket Bonez!!!

Do you think it makes me look slimmer? Seriously, I'm happy with it. Pockets for Africa though ah? The cell phone wallet is a nice touch. May even convince me to buy one . I'm a neo-Luddite at heart though.

Time to get the trusty leather jacket in to get mended and all spruced up for the next 10 years.

Excellent ride people, enjoyed that road even if the road was a little slippery in the odd spot, did anyone else have any slidey moments?

Whos hitting the trackday on Sunday? For $40 you'd be mad NOT to. Its the perfect time for anyone new to riding or new to their current bike to take it out in assured one way traffic, with help on hand if need be, to get to grips with a few techniques etc. And the novice class is a pretty good place to start.

No gravel, no sheep, no cars, no surprises and plenty of advise on hand.

You'd need a pretty good reason NOT to be there really.
