....funnily enough the green bike was absent and we didnt get lost...

was thinking we could go the reverse to last time, so Patangata to Elsthorpe then up Kahuranaki Rd, etc....

but at Elsthorpe we could hang a right and nip out to Kairakau Beach - only about 25-30km there and back, road looks good and is sealed, maybe have lunch out there (if there are any shops...who knows)

just a little diversion for half an hour or so

dannevirke to waipuk via weber is about 120km, but going via ormondville, takapau, etc its about 60km so i guess an extra hour/hour and a quarter since we'll probably stop at Wimbledon and the road would be slower going too

I spose without the weber loop it would be a 6 hour ride so maybe 7-7.5 if its included?? (thats ashhurst to ashhurst btw)

Either way you know it's a good ride.
The road condition from Weber to Wimbledon being the only reel issue with going that way I reckon.
But it's not a race so if everyone rides accordingly it should be all good.

Gunning for a job with Higgins or Fulton Hogan? Be sure to put a shovel in as well incase to want to stop for a rest.
