Well that was fun, only one minor slip and that was small shingle, nothing major.Even cleaned the bike this morning and looks clean lol, doesn't look like my bike.

Hope to do next week as well, woohoo joys of Hawkes Bay anniversary weekend, since I missed on Wellington one.Gotta be some perks working in the Bay,oh yeah the weather at times is good.

Managed 1 coffee before ride,1 at garage and 1 after at Cuba, shit am almost as bad as Al,bloody influences.

Actually I like doing the loop the way last night anticlockwise?

Anti clockwise is the way it always seems to be done on FNR's for some reason. I fact that's the only way i've ever done it..

Looks like a great night out. Awesome pics Sonic - I'll look at them properly when I have decent internet.

The Rangi and then Apiti Loop were great on the GC but then things went very wrong over Pongaroa way.

Catch you all soon - East Cape awaits...

    Thats a sterling idea

And while on the topic of FNR's I think its a good time to reiterate a few words relating to the orginal intent of the ride.

After a bit of feedback I'd like to say that EVERYONE is welcome on these rides as they are great fun and a really good way to kickback after a long week, have a good ride and talk crap with mates.

Yes, they did get a bit quick for a while there so it ought to be noted that there should always be a group leader and a TEC to ensure the group doesn't get split up or anyone left behind.

A preride brief should occur so everyone knows exactly what the route is to be.

There is nothing wrong with people doing their own thing as long as it is done SAFELY and doesn't interfere with others enjoyment of the ride.

Basically, lets try and keep it a group ride, that is where the real fun lies and everyone should feel free to provide input into the route and how the ride should be conducted

Thanks Al I missed it the first time

But alas you are right. I think with a liottle organisation and a lot of healthy respect for each others riding space and we should be able to look forward to a great summers riding
