first friday night ride - good fun riding in a big group and stopping for a beer. thanks for introducing me to a few people sarah. i buggered off back over the track.. must remember: clear visor next time!!
had to ride the track with visor up and went through a bloody massive insect swarm and ended up with about 5 billion insects stuck to my face and glasses. about the only time that i've been glad to wear glasses.

Needed to blow some steam off and enjoyed being back out on 2 wheels lastnight. Lis's CBR400RR was actually alot of fun especially on Bones loop and through the Gorge chasing Lance and Al. Going to miss riding the little 400's.

2 and a half weeks to go for the 675 to arrive too.

A big ha ha to all you poor sods who bought tinted visors with them Take my cue and wear shades and a clear visor, gets dark, then simply put the shades away and you have clear vision.

And did I hear Cowboyz is comming out of the closet? Riding a Honda did he?

True. I did see a 1Tonne stall at a Manfield track day and they had similier gear that had all the bells and whistles. I would love to have one but are they as strong as your normal helmet?

Dont think they are any weaker than a standard helmet, but i hear what your saying
They have brought out a cheper version with plain paint work, brought Monie one cause she is like me and needs sunnies on when she rides. She loves it

i think it is time to address some issues that have appeared with the popularity of the friday night rides and remember why the friday night ride was started in the first place. There has always been pacey riders on the friday night rides as well as plenty of newbies and alot in between.
Like always speed is not a prblem on its own but it it seems some are forgetting the spirit of the ride and not being as considerate around other riders as they could be.
The friday night cruisy ride was created to end the week with a social get together and would be good to not lose the purpose of the ride. Its a great way to end the week.

Totally agree. The ride was created for everyone. As a place to learn some skills, for enjoyment, and as a wind down. It's a no pressure, ride your own pace ride. Keep it SAFE.

Even if my bike has a pace of it's own at the moment.. fast slow fast slow fast slow fast slow.. Then lay down and have a rest.. Get up and go fast slow fast slow...

fast slow fast slow is a broken down version of the hiccups lol
