    Didn't realise more than 1 off,bummer.
Yeah, puts a damper on things. Unfortunately, the same & worse has happened before on the Coast to Coast. Always some idiot with something to prove. I'm just as guilty as the next guy of having a bit of fun at times but you do need to temper it a bit when in a group and causing someone else's accident is not on.

wow didn't realize their were several accidents ,hope they were not too damaged up .seemed like their was a bloody good turnout ,just needed a bit more organiseing in the way of grouping etc by the sounds of it ,was wondering how some of those big triumphs would've got through those twisties (triumph rockets .... have alot of respect for those riders

One tough dude if that was the case,cracked/broken ribs aint fun, least if ya gotta lift a bike and try to steer it.And lucky the chopper was close by,mind you rather win or pay for another ride thanks.

It is one of those things about staggering riders, how do you know who can or can't ride fast.As stated on entry it is not a race, and basically respect those on the ride re passing safely.Mind you by Whanga the fast ones have an idea who they are and usually leave together,or else the slower ones can leave earlier, but then it depends how far you are travelling and when you have to get home etc.

Guess best rule is ride at your own speed and for conditions, sounds simple but in reality can be a nightmare.
