Help get JJ58 a competitive race bike

    Hey People,

Some of you probably don't know as I try to keep things quiet, but I'm going to try my hand at racing overseas in Canada in their SV Cup in 2008(similiar to Pro-Twins).

To do so I'll need to get a competitive bike. I'll be one step closer to making this dream a reality once I sell my beloved MG, which has been a project of mine for nearly three years.

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Mo...-125363383.htm

My proposal on how you can help me is:

If someone from this website puts me on to a buyer then I'll give them $100. It's quite simple really....

...Not only will you get $100, but you'll be helping a fellow racer out.

    Thanks heaps for your help.

It's got the only well regulated production bike class that I've found. The seasons are short and it's a great gateway to the US. Plus there's been minimal improvements in the SV's since 2003, meaning that I don't have to fork out for a brand new bike to be competitive......

In summary, unlike racing in NZ, those with money and distributor support have little advantage over those without.

Yeah you do get prize money, but it won't cover the costs of racing..... But it'll sure offer some relief!! (assumming I'm good enough to get my hands on some!!)

This sounds interesting. So what mods do they allow for an SV cup bike?

Main points of interest for me are suspension and engine mods.

    Ok found the rules:

Sounds pretty much like NZ Protwin but I like the idea of maxium power and minimum weight.
