Petronas- so who is going to ride for them?

Troy Corser quits, Chris Walker moves over to Kawasaki... so where does this leave Petronas?

Fogarty's team may have made real progress over the last couple of years - but lets be honest, it has benefitted from the absence of works teams.

With the Big 4 coming back to the fold, the Petronas is going to have to come on in ever larger leaps and bounds... and to do that it needs someone who can get results... and two riders who have the technical ability to set up a bike and give feedback to the team management - and possiblly more importantly shout harder, longer and more aggressively than the team boss - and mechanics (and before anybody says anything, not all top racers have this ability).

So who do you think Fogarty will try to sign? Corser was probably as good a development rider as he was going to find. He likes the idea of having a British rider in the team.

Personally, I think whoever joins the team is facing an uphill battle next year - so I reckon either someone who is trying to break into the big leagues, or someone looking to rebuild their reputation.

So who should he go for?

Jamie, would be a laugh, but he retired on health grounds so is unlikely to come back and I think he's having too much fun in the commentary booth.

Maybe he could get some MotoGP riders....perhaps coax some of the Aprilia or Proton riders

They gotta put another cylinder in that motor or else its still not going to cut it no matter who rides it.

Foggy will probably suit up and have a crack himself.
