    Neptune cans

    Has anyone fitted Neptune Cans?

I'm looking at a set for my Duke 900ss and wondered what everyone thought about them. Comparable to Arrow, Micron etc? What sort of note? Any issues with power dips etc, do you need to rechip?

    Cheers

Bloody good, against popular advice a mate fitted a carbon set to his SV and many kms later there still as new.Sound awsome to.Ive heard many say that v twins are hard on carbon cans but ive never seen any evidence to back that claim up.

Much better quality than Micron, much better looking than Arrow.

Rechipping is really your issue to sort out and best done on a dyno with a decent techo running the show.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Had a set on my VTR Firestorm - drowned out a mates Harley. My house shook as it came into the garage. Awesome for loud factor.

As said above... I had some fitted to my VTR - great pipes and fricken loud. Awesome. Almost too loud - all my neighbours hated it when I rode out for work early or came home in the middle of the night.

Stupid thing is, after selling the bike, the stupid dickhead who bought it rode the damn bike into a parked car damaging those beaut pipes... what a knobcheese factory he was.

They can come fitted with a removable sound reducer thingy now if you are worried about the noise (as do all aftermarket street cans now - lots of shops remove them).

My new Hornet 900 could do with some pipe noise!

On a Duke, Termignoni's the only way.

A Pair of carbon fibre oval Microns is exactly what you need!!! ( I have a pair on my black Hornet and couldn't be happier)
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
