There ARE nice men out there. I've met very many. I have one (well, sometimes he conjurs up visions of me cheerfully wrapping his bike chain around his head and walking away smiling with nothing on my conscience - but not often, and I'm sure it goes both ways, although I'd be faster with his chain than he'd be with my drive belt! LOL!) and I've always thought that clubs are only good for helping you to figure out what you soooo DON'T want. The helpful observations made here by both men and women that the club prowlers do it for reasons you wouldn't want anything to do with, are probably on the button, but you've figured that out anyway. As to what you can do to have fun in those places without being mauled or abused by no-brainers, "f**k off, c**t" always worked pretty well for me.

Seems to me like there are some pretty nice blokes on this forum, and they can't ALL be taken, can they? Just like all the lovely women in here can't all be spoken for, either, but no moniker gives much of a clue as to what's going on in anyones' life. Saying that, tho, SOME men you meet on forums, the ones that howl with indignation after (arrogantly perhaps?) assuming themselves to be part of a generalized experience (very telling!), and for whatever reason feel the need to wade univited into a women's discussion, to defend themselves and proceed to tell you how stupid you are and how irrelevant your observations and experiences are because they don't agree or empathise with them... well, they're not the type of guy you'd want either, are they? BARGEPOLE!!!!!!!!!!! On the basis of THAT, yeah! You're telling ME some men are arrogant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep the faith. And don't be swayed by the covert messages in here from loose canons who take offence about a discussion they weren't even invited to join in the first place. You DO have the right to voice your disappointment and frustration at being treated without respect. The fact that a few touchy fools seem to think its ok for them to come on in here uninvited, tear you down for it, and thereby do exactly the same thing to you, says a bit more about them than it does about you! A man doesn't have to be a complete wimp to have respect for a woman, or for her right to have her experiences acknowledged as valid and real to her. Any bloke who can't offer something a bit better than "harden up" is best left alone.

Other forums have women's discussion rooms as exclusively female, with men able to observe if they really must, but not permitted to take part. Maybe a safe harbour along those same lines is what's needed here. If not, then we could always re-head this discussion up as "tampon absorbency" and that might work.

By the way, Zook, women only nag because they don't feel heard. The solution is painelss, and it doesn't make you a wimp or any less of a vine-swinging macho. Just let them know you hear them. Do that, and the nagging usually stops. If it doesn't, its because there's something else going on, and if you're interested enough to ask what THAT is, and listen to what's being said, the brownie points for that tend to cancel out the nagging too. Nagging is a cry for assistance.

One more hint... when you wanna crash on into a girls' discussion, take what you get on the chin and be nice. You might be surprised how far it takes ya...

Something else to think about... If tables were turned and a women started hitting on a bloke at a bar and the response was "f**k off, c*nt". Piss off back to your other forums then. I have never seen a thread on KB labeled as a topic for guys only. This place has not been that sort of forum. From my experience this place is a community with mutual discusion from both males and females which often results in good fun debate. If you girls want to have a bytch session, do it elsewhere. If you are open to public discusion, then I welcome your threads.

The scene is for the loose units of both sexes, the Meat Market of society.
So what is a nice guy,
The guy that is consistant in what he does?
Defends your honour in conversations
Will happily spend time with you in conversation with your mother?
Is content with one or two holidays a year, because of the budjet?
Will always listen to you when you are feeling down and grumpy?
Looses at golf when you play, even though he has a lower handicap?
Is willing to supress the urge to ride hard with the boys, because you dont want to?
He will sit and face you when you talk, even if it is whilst his favorite TV programme is on.
Will bring you flowers from the garden he has grown for no other reason than he can.

Are these some of the things you think a Nice Guy should do?
