Piss off back to your other forums then. I have never seen a thread on KB labeled as a topic for guys only. This place has not been that sort of forum. From my experience this place is a community with mutual discusion from both males and females which often results in good fun debate. If you girls want to have a bytch session, do it elsewhere. If you are open to public discusion, then I welcome your threads.

is it just me or do 'nice guys' seem to be disappearing at a fast rate? i went out to celebrate my birthday last night, and it because it was a girls night i just pretended that i wasnt single as I just wanted to spend time with my mates.

That is a good point none the less. But I do agree - assholes tend to get noticed and I think there are more of them. I don't believe people are being raised with the same values as the previous generation. Look around - fifteen-year-olds becoming parents, dropping out of school, not respecting their families or even themselves. There are wonderful guys out there, I've met a number, but I've told three times that number to get the heck out of my life before they loose theirs. She wasn't calling all guys arrogant though, so that last sentence is unfair.

In fact, this is a pet hate of mine.

Fucking women cluttering up my gym. They're always bloody minging around the free weights floor playing with 2.5kg dumbbells when I want to set up for deadlifts, or taking up the incline bench under the watchful eye of their wizened, ponytailed, over-tanned personal trainer while they do something incomprehensible involving balancing a swiss ball on their nose, or just generally being annoying and non-focused individuals in a place that should be all about very loud heavy metal music and grunting noises.

But.

If I tried to open a men-only gym, what would happen?

A. Everyone would assume it was for homosexuals, rather than men who wanted to focus on their training instead of their sexuality for a measly hour or two. And believe me, training at your average co-ed gym gets one focusing on non-training matters far more than is optimal.

B. Someone would take me to court for discriminating against women. And I'd be sentenced to death by nagging.

She's a hard life being a white middle-class male in twenty-first-century New Zealand.
