Cheers all for a fun day out.
I'll have to head up to Mangawhai and Waipu a few more times this summer, it's really nice up there

I got a bit lost on the way back, ended up going all the way round SH16 through Helensville....I probably should had followed Greg on his Ducati when he turned off

All good though...less gravel that way

    Yeah EJ! WIcked one!

Sorry if the other people at the servo had turned up for the ride, I only checked the people who had put their names down were there. Will be less slack if I post another one!

    Ended up in a bunch of 8. 2 Ho-Bags, 2 R6's, 2 Dukes and 2 Hondas.

Wellsford, Te Hana, Mangawhai. Loved it.

Sorry the pics aren't the best.

Hey Pancakes thanks for the ride, I had a blast. Never been up to Waipu in all my years in AK. Great to meet some other KBer's as well. Looking Forward to next time. Was Glad to see the guy on the cbr was ok. Thought the worst when I first saw it but from what he said he wasn't going that fast. Bugger all damage as well. Cheers.

Awesome, glad you enjoyed it. I'm sooo jelous of your bike, sexytime! Lovin the orange. Yeah out of the group I have only ridden with Raj before but we were all in the same vibe and thats always good. Rude for that guy, he was nice too, offering to TEC for my shoddily organised ride!

    Yeah thanks Pancakes

Good stuff guys. Good safe riding and Pancakes you were going great....nice and smooth. Glad the bloke on the CBR was ok, I was right behind...he just overcooked the corner a tad, nothing serious which is great. Bike wasnt too bad at all, he was caught out once into the shingle.can happen to us all (or has!@!). Keep safe chaps

Ah yes the "dumbass" on the Honda....

Firstly thanks all, was a great day...

As for the other wee matter. Well I can safely say that all is well. There is some scratching to the fairing but even that is minor. Other than that she needs a bath !!!

A few factors, but the key to it all was "losing concentration". That just meant evrything happened sooner than I was prepared for and made a bad decision(s) ...

Thanks to Shepster and Greg (cant recall your KB handle just at the Mo) for the hand getting the bike upright again and hanging around with me on my slow (read: cautious) ride back to civilisation.

Anyone know the guy on the GPX250 I saw pulled over on SH16?
(I was pretty far behind so I'm not sure if everyone else saw him or not)
Pretty sure we saw him going through Waipu Cove when we were eating lunch too.

Saw the GPX... both when they went past at Wellsford and when we when past while they were getting their dressing down. I had assumed it was probably the Waipu person.

...No idea who it was though
