Huh, where does the fluid go?

i have a Hyosung GT250 which has recently had new front brake pads fitted and i have noticed a loss in braking perfomance and fluid loss without any visable signs of where it is leaking/being lost from i got home yesterday and the last part of my ride i had minimal brake performance and the resivour needed to be topped up yet again. Can anyone give me any clues where to start looking and/or advise how or what to do to trouble check the braking system to find out what parts i need to get repaired or replaced. The brakes have never felt strong/solid and are always a little spongy even when no more air bubbles are appearing from the caliper tube in the fluid catchment resivour when the brakes are being bleed.

Possible leak points are: - the hose ends (banjos), seals in the master cylinder, seals in the caliper/s. A split in a hose is not impossible either.
Visually inspect the entire system and ensure that all parts of it are clean and dry (externally). Now, pull the brakelever in and tie it to prevent return to rest. Leave it 5/10 mins and re-inspect for leaks.

Could take it to where you got it from if it's newish? Or to the place that did the pads? I'd be happy to help you also and if you need anything done to your bike in the way of regular servicing am happy to show you how. Oil, all the filters, plugs, chain tension and tyre alignment, pads and fluid etc. If your on the shore I'm about 10 mins away im Whenuapai.

edit. You may have had bubbles in there that have vibrated up to the top from riding too. Good you caght that. Not enough people actually check their bikes frequently for oil and brake fluid etc. Fairly important IMO!

people dont check there bikes ........for oil level ...brakes ....

I would have thought this stuff was just general to do things
i check everything every time i start the bike "well before i start it"
I generally notice every thing ...even the latest stone chip that wasnt there yesterday ..

Given your bike and the nature of your question I would go back to the place that fitted the pads and ask them to check the situation over.
Theres a couple of possibilities that are easily sorted by a professional.
Word of warning--going in to a workshop screaming-"my brakes are fucked wacha gonna do about it?" is unlikely to get things done in a hurry.
Explaining your concerns in an even manner is more likely to get it fixed --and most likely for free
