    Space Station visible...

...and when it's going to be visible...

For those that like to do a little stargazing, I spotted this link to NASA. Gives the time, direction, and duration the Space Station (and Shuttle if in orbit) will be visible from your nearest city...

Looks like Sat 17th will be good for me...
Sat Nov 17/09:32 PM, for 2 Min Duration, at 81 degrees above horizon, from 32 degrees above SW to 56 degrees above ENE.

Has it going just about right overhead... Saw it a couple of shuttle missions ago, near end of last summer - BRIGHT large star, MOVING across the sky real quick. Was easy to see, even though it wasn't dark (early evening, so sun down, just) yet.

Hehe, let's go ISS spotting. Find a clear night, chuck a crate of beers and a barbie onto the Port Hills and sit back in our camping chairs looking up...

I could be interested in a short ride up the hill at the right time. There's a spot over looking the Harbour with plenty of parking. Just pick a date someone and see who else is interested.

Thanks for that, we saw it go overhead once (about the time of the McNaught comet) and it was pretty cool. We're lucky enough to live in the country and have nice clear skies so it was easy to see and track.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

This is the best site I reckon:

    http://heavens-above.com/

Either register as a user, or search for your home town, to get satellite spotting info for your area.

It's moving at 28,000 Km/hr, so you might need to lead the shot a fair bit...
