The feel-good coppa thread
Just wanted to share a positive experience with the law enforcement community.
Was out for dinner with the missus last night. All of the sudden we heard an aggravated yell from out the back and it turns out that someone had caught some guys breaking into the chef's car. The thieves of course ran away as fast as their legs could carry them. The staff went out to look for them and the guy who owned the car phoned the police.
I was positively surprised to see two police cars (a normal patrol and a dog car) show up inside 10 minutes. Good blokes as well, no bullshit, calm, polite and professional. The thieves didn't actually manage to get away with anything - probably only managed to fuck up the lock on the car...
Anyway, good to know that the police responded that fast to something that "unimportant" on a friday night. Not so good to know that there are thieves operating in our neighbourhood.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)
