I have been hunting and gathering at Marokopa most of winter (40 min West of Waitomo). Since I don't do much during the week and whitebaiting is coming to a close. Thought I would open it up to anyone keen for a ride and fish - via Kawhia road - Kinohaku - Te anga. Sometime during the week, possibly this Tuesday 13th Nov and/or Thursday and/or Friday next week. (Went on Friday but flooding had closed the road, should be sweet by next week)

Good day out for anyone that wants to give Whitebaiting a go ( I have a set net out there) or a crack at catching some Kawahai (excellent eating fresh). Odds of catching either are fairly high going on my last 5 times out there. I have all the gear, so you just need a bike and a small bag to carry your catch home.

PM me if you are keen, just let me know what day suits and I will make sure I go that day (will most likely be going the others as well).
