Sorry man, but I don't find that funny, I don't like cats but I wouldn't put duct tape on one. Thats pretty mean for the cat.

Doesn't look like duct tape to me mate, looks like the not-quite-so-fucking-sticky post tape that you wouldn't even feel pulling of your arm.

And cats being cats, and that there obviously not the first time they do it, I reckon it would have taken his hand off if it was too opposed to it.

Fuck I hate cruelty to animals. Some people are just bastards.

As an experiment into animal behaviour its interesting, make me wonder why the cat does what it does, and if its something all cats do but I am not going to try it out, my cat would have my arm for that.

In fact I think my cat was the model for http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=60159
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

I guess I'm a tormentor as well, check out my YouTube videos of my pets! BTW: What's the big deal with the cat+tape video, my cat wouldn't give a shit if I did it to her...

Oh, and most people have no fucking idea what cruelty to animals is. I volunteered at the Marlborough SPCA for 4 years and I've seen REAL cruelty. This cat is in excellent physical condition, it is not stressed nor is it in any genuine danger.

Yea but Romeo, animals love that sort of stimulation, our dog here loves his ball and just can't get enough of playing hide and seek with it, like your cat playing with the spagetti. And the dog is just having a feed.
The cat with the tape on it may be relaxed on the video, but what about when they try and take it off? I never said it was cruel, just mean, most of the cats I've seen wouldn't tolerate someone trying to pull their hair taking a piece of tape off.

Trust me, if a cat wants to get away it'll get away damn quick! You'd think that the cat would eventually learn that "tape = pain, avoid tape". So either it's a stupid cat, or it doesn't give a shit - I believe the latter. They seem to have repeated the process 3 or 4 times on the video at least, I never saw it actively trying to fight back or flee.

On a personal level all I will say is "What ever......"

If you genuinely feel that "tormenting" an animal is ok, then you are a pretty sad individual... and Karma is a Mother Fucker.
