Anyone know the fork oil amount or dimension for an RG250? I’m told by my local Suzuki agent that the RGV should take 429ml per side but I don’t want to assume the fork internals are the same on the RG.

haha, the forks would lock up with that much oil. Lazy dealer for not looking it up.
Just Google it & you should find your way to a few suzi pages with the specs. (Has quick check) hmm, ok so you are going to have to try a few searches but the info will be out there. Often refers to measurement from top of tubes with no springs compressed.

Sorted. RG250 with anti-dive forks.......285ml. Just in case anyone was wondering. I only found out through a chance conversation with Bill at Budget Motorcycle Spares in Christchurch! He whipped out a tech manual, flicked through a few well thumbed pages and there it was. Easy as that. I'd guessed at 250ml so at least now I can top up the extra 35ml and know that it's right.
So, thanks Bill, I can now ride my bike safe in the knowledge that at least my forks are OK.
