That's probably clever marketing, if a little late to the game.
A while back lots of American military personnel were returning home to the States with big bank balances, there having been nowhere in Iraq or Afghanistan to spend their pay. Many, being young and single, purchased toys and, it being the USA, a new motorcyclist can buy a Hyabusa and ride it sans helmet. It was said at one stage that, for US Marines, the casaualty rate from motorbike accidents was higher than from either war.
So to offer training using a dash of military terminology like "recruiting" and "boot camp" is probably not a bad sales pitch.
