I used to wave - but as I am apparently not a good enough rider, now i don't as it is too risky to take one hand off the bars and wave.  I now nod for this reason...

I nod cos the roads are so bumpy and my suspenion is too stiff   I would wave but it's hard when SR#1 and SR#2 are at work.

Fuck - apparently I have enough problems riding in general.....no shannigans for me - I have to start thinking about my process of stopping 10 mins before I have to let alone picking my nose.

The reason that Hog riders don't wave back is that they're too scared to let go!
Wing nuts don't wave back if they can't find the "Auto wave back" button.

yeah.. gotta wave to the kids (what better way to foster positive attitudes to bikes?)although I'm tempted to pull up next to the vans with unrestrained kids and give the parents a good serve sometimes.
I have waved goodbye to them a few times usually they respond by activating their lights and turning around, not sure what the go is with that but I havnt hung around to find out!!

I wave at anybody, it's up to them how they respond or don't.

I love the way children crack up when you are behind them and go when you pull out to pass one gear to low, rev limiter "barking"

And you never seen a four year old smile until you put your electric screen up while waiting at the lights or while passing the car their in. They smile so wide it looks like their trying out for a macleans add.

A couple of times I have done particularly dipshittish things while behind cars with kids in who have, on both occasions, made the shape of an L with their fingers and thumbs on their foreheads. What happened to respect, I want to know...

    Talking I'm a lot likw wkid_one...

...I'm too busy thinking about all the little & BIG bits I have to remember to do to wave although I'm sure I'll be giving the one finger salute a bit more regularly when I get a bit more sure of my riding! So many cars don't give way! :sneaky2:
