    It means, that I was so disturbed by your comment that not even a poke in the eye with a stick would have brung me out of the hypnotic truma that I was experiancing at that point in time.

    Just remember- cops often travel in groups spaced a minute or two apart. One marked patrol car to make you think 'Cool, I've seen the cop- now I can wind her out" followed by another patrol car or a mufti, to nab you when you do.
