    Yeah, me too.

I realised this morning that I may be responsible for a lot of the bad mojo (crashes, near misses, theft, misbehaving engines, etc.) that befalls other bikers. If I nod/wave (or wave/nod) to another motorbicylcist, and he/she/it doesn't respond, I invariably go, "Well phark you then!!" inside my helmet, and Satan and/or his minions must take me up on this invitation.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Hey its not that we dont WANT to wave at you sporty types, its just that Cruisers are on 7th heaven once in the saddle and dont even see the road LOL, I also have a question, how do u tell a weekend rider as he is coming towards u at 120kph. hehehe, Seriously though I wave at everyone, dirtbike, Sporter, Harley, anything on two wheels, so much so Im thinking of installing one of those "wavy HANDS on a spring, onto my windsheild...

    Check the calendar?
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

    PS Photos would be amusing
what surprised me the most is that Hubby didn't loose his sense of humour and run him off the road.

I nod to all bikes. But hows this for a odd story. I was driving down a main road and was going through an intersection. There was someone on my left waiting at the lights as I went through. I think they were on one of those Honda 90cc step throughs. Anyway, as I start going through the intersection they guy visciously starts beeping his horn and when I look he waves. So.. I wave back.

    I found that very odd

Mind you, I've read through this entire thread, and not one HD rider waved to me while I was doing it.........

i had a guy on a triumph pull up next to me at the lights today.
    i nodded to him
    he said "like fuck"
i felt like puching him over right then and there, decided not to as im a little guy and im not sure that i could unbalance a tractor like that.

Well that wasn't very nice. Should have told him he was driving a tuna can right when the lights changed and you could drive off

    Nod, Wink or a Wave

Cage drivers wave fists and give the bird to each other,
Truckies flick and indicator to say hi to each other .
In my little short time on two wheels I see we give a little nod of helmet.
Do we have a sign a gesture a secret hand shake, wink, wave or nod??????
and what about us two wheelers when in cages to acknowledge a fellow two wheeler ????

    Mod Warning: Be nice people.

Welcome to KB, and be aware that the topic has been covered in some depth and sets the poster of a new thread about waving, secret KB waves, and nodding vs waving, up for a significant amount of ridicule.

It's how we like to make you feel welcome.

You can wave at me however you want; just don't throw stuff.

There are many many threads on this topic..... do a quick search and you will be surprised!

Usually, a nod or a wave as you pass another biker is the norm.

Not everyone does it. Dont be offended if you nod/wave and its not returned. They normally are riding a cruiser and/or gang patch on their back!
