    Welcome to KB............

I wave or nod to all bikers out on the roads......
It is then up to them whether they wave or nod back.

Whether they be in a gang or not, they are still bikers.

Heck I even wandered over to a few (about 8 of them) the other day in Wellsford (north of Auckland) to let them know about road works down SH16 should they be going that way. They thanked me and smiled. They were appreciative of the info. We chatted about where the police were out on the roads as well.

I have waved to many gang members out there riding, some wave back some don't. No biggie.

Heck you never know, one day your bike may break down or you may have a accident out there on the roads, and they will stop to help you out.

The one thing that we have in common is that we all ride bikes.

Better to wave to all or none. As motorcyclists, we all face the same issues out there, so why differentiate??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Yep, what Jrandom said...

Some riders don't bother and I think that's pretty rude, but then again who cares?...if they want to be grumpy, then that's their problem.

I say hi and enjoy my ride...

Those scum-sucking patched-up bottom feeders can eat my shit. I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

Help with a breakdown is why I have AA membership.

In all seriousness, I would never wave to any of them, particularly not the 'ethnic' gangs, Tribesmen and the like. They're cowardly predators, every last one.

Get some perspective on just who it is you're being so sweet and friendly to.

Housesitting next door to the Mongrel Mob has ensured my bike has not been stolen. Wave to everyone.

N.B. I didn't know they were there before I started housesitting... And they're friendlier than the scatty cage driving monster who lives upstairs. But then they're older, not young patched bandana wearing freaks.

    They're filth.

No point intentionally antagonising them, but I don't believe in pretending to be the friend of those animals.

I've met lots of disappointing people lately, both in and outside of the biker communi-tay. There are scum who wear patches and there are scum that don't.

Waving doesn't make me anyone's friend, nor does it mean I'm pretending to be their friend.

Uh, To qualify for the patch you have to be scum.

    Make no mistake.

And even those that shy away from the violence are masters at using and burning people.

Watched from the fringes for many years.

That's bullshit; of course it does. It's a friendly gesture.

Open your eyes. The men you are waving so happily at would rape you and steal everything you own without a second thought if it was convenient to them.

My eyes are very open you condescending prat. Plenty of non-patched men would also do as you've stated above.

Regardless of the patch, the people living next door have been great neighbours, more so than the non-patch wearing cage driving monster living upstairs from me who knocked my bike over.

And a patch doesn't have to say 'mongrel mob' to be a patch.

Yes waving is a friendly gesture, but only a gesture. It's not a commitment to being someone’s friend, nor acceptance of someone’s fucked up behaviour should they be that way inclined. I've probably waved to plenty of non-patched bikers who are scum.

I don't wave to people on lesser bikes than my own. I also don't give to charity. I mean, what's in it for me?

A vanishing minority of non-patched men would do as I stated. Maybe one in a thousand? One in ten thousand?

Every patched member of the Mongrel Mob, however, has almost certainly done such things.

So you're fine with people who murder, rape, lie and steal, so long as they don't do it to you?

I'm not condescending - I just think you're an idiot.

One day I'm going to buy a BMW just so I can give other BMW riders the finger, because they only seem to wave at each other. You can see the sniffy buggers stick their nose in the air when you wave at them from a lowly Suzuki or Kawasaki because they all ride round with their fliptop helmets open.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
