Absolutely! I think being on a bike is one of the very few times in our often twisted day and age that you can wave to a kid without being accused of being a sicko,, and the smiles you get in return are always worth it.

I've given up on waving at someone on the opposite side of the motorway though, as this rarely gets a response.

Little kids usually are good to wave at too, espically if they're frantically trying to get your attention. You've got to encourage the future generation of bike owners

My daughter would wave at you from her trike.. But she is only 19 months old and waves at everybody!

LoL good on her!

I remember when I was around that age I was the king of the playground on my trike, me and my brother would ride staggered on our little plastic trikes with our pacifiers in mouths and turn up to the new kids or 'noobs' and we'd race them down our driveway. Even mum couldnt catch me when I deserved a whoppa hiding.

One of my sons (just over 2 years old) goes up to complete strangers calls them dad and tries to climb into their cars.

If anyone ever tries to abduct him he would have done all the work for them.
