Pisses me off when you wave at some one and they don't even have the decency to ignore you, instead they just stare. You obviously saw me wave how hard is it to figure out that maybe you could wave back?!

I wonder if the site could be set up to automatically send all new members a welcome message when they join up (does this already happen?). In that message can be the usual welcome stuff and site rules but in massive caps at the end there could be a "Please use the search function before starting a thread" along with "please do not start threads about waving, tyre pressure, waving, petrol octane, waving, what oil to use, waving, or about waving"

I used to wave but after a while found it a bit informal. Now I prefer to shake hands as I pass or if I'm in Auckland and it's a woman riding that I've met before a kiss to each cheek is called for. A good buddy will get a backslapping hug.

At first I thought it was just a "You're on a bike, I'm on a bike, Nice work!" kinda thing.

But then I thought about it a little more, and as I was following the right-hand tyre tread of the car in front of me, I was relatively close to the centerline. So maybe it was a "Move over!" kind of gesture?

Either way I didnt do anything back, Now im wondering: Is there any standard bike-to-bike wave? or even a KBiker wave?

That was the standard wave for "im not a waver".How could anyone not know that

Can some clever mod set something up so that if anyone starts a waving thread, their PC explodes in a giant sheet of flame, destroying all life within a radius of 2 metres of their PC?
