i wave to sportbike riders, dont really wave to hog riders, but i do give them the odd flash of my lights of the signal for "cops" ahead when there is nothing around, just like to fuck with them, but il let any sportbike guy know if iv passed a cop and they are heading towards it.

I normally give a nod, sometimes a wave. Doesn't matter what type of bike. I've even had a nod back from a harley :P And I'm on a honda!

Plenty don't nod or wave back though. Kind of saddening. Especially when they are other sport bikers. All seem to be fully focused on what is directly in front of them. Funny thing is that I go the same route each day, and see the same bikes. I still nod to the ones who don't nod back. Maybe one day...

It's all bad and all wrong

Bloody scooter riders never wave back - do they think they're better than me or something? And the same goes with cyclists and pedestrians - the only ones that wave back are pretty girls in short skirts - they always give me the peace sign when i wave at them.
Don't blame me, I voted Green.

Ah, maybe that's why bikers don't wave back - they know I wave at scooters.

Those pretty girls always like me know they think I'm number one, just can't work out why they use the middel finger.

The wave or nod can have its down side as well, a few weeks back i gave a nod to a a rider on a 250 bandit/hornet/commet(im not shure what bike it was) and hge waved back, just as he waved, the car in front put its brakes on for a pedestrian crossing, said 250 bandit/hornet/commet, locked up at least the rear, maybe even the front for a second, but managed to keep it right side up and came to a stop just down the inside of the car, good skills mate

The fear of that exact scenerio is why I nod on most occasions instead of waving. Just don't feel fully comfortable taking my hand off the clutch atm. Only times I wave is when there is no one in front of me, or traffic is very light.
