Does anyone know the reason why they do this? Do they think they're cooler than everyone else on the road? or are they just just mad cos any other road bikes (Sportsbike, Touring bike etc. ) goes faster than theirs? These are the only things I could possibly think of..Any ideas anyone?

P.S- I always feel happy when we greet each other whilst riding. I greet everyone on the road and I receive the same from most of the riders except for the choppers/cruisers. Arent we the big biker community/family who shares the same passion,i.e riding?
    Teeheehee...a waving thread.

Who gives a fuck mate! Waving isnt as important to some riders as it is to others.
Dont take it personal like. Lots of other shit on the road to stress about without worrying about who wont wave back at you.

Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.

Why the fuck do you think you need to wave at everyone riding a bike?

Cos I thought it was a motocylcle culture to wave or nod at each other to show respect and a sign of companionship as well all share the same passion for riding. Well 30 % is still ok than 0%

Nar I think the general waving or nodding is good enough

I followed you going through the valley towards Bell Block about a week/10days ago. You stopped at the lights in front of me. You struggle to reach the ground on that bike which gives you a strange sitting position when you move off again. Once going, your arse is still sitting off the seat on the left side.....you look very cock eyed on it. Just sayin, perhaps you should concentrate on other things instead of waving.......

Its actually dead obvious, its because choppers have such fundamentally flawed handling and stability characteristics akin to a wobbly jelly. They need all hands on deck and none are free to wave.
