Go to Rotorua, was there for the weekend on the 38 year old BMW and wait for it got Harley waves not once but more then 3 , and lets face it you can't mistake a BMW for a Hog
large groups of identically dwessed Hog riders ...not so much....but that was over near Tauranga.
Two V rod Bros even said hi at the pub, that Crouchers Pilsener is a nice drop.

When I was in Europe many years ago, all the bikers waved....did they stop when you broke down...er no, but the Volvo towing a caravan did and took me into town and back, just waved at Volvo towing caravans after that.

I get the most waves from Tourers & Cruisers, many of my fellow sportsbikers seem to be the worst.

Maybe you are not wearing colour coded leathers?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Don't bikers in NZ wave to each other?

More riders wave when I'm on the Daytona than they do my 250; and no, I don't wear colour coordinated leathers

Is that when you are on your BMW Motu?

By the way, I've been waving all my life starting in my Zundapp and A100 days, so it seems natural to even wave to scooter riders lol. I don't mind if its a Yank under the helmet, I wouldn't normally get to find out when they are going the other way.
    Cheers

Could be, I don't have one of those camel humps on my jacket so I may be considered an outcast

    I wave at everyone....

Unless it is someone who is sat filtering in traffic, not looking in their mirrors and dawdling while I am trying to get passed them

BEST wave I have ever received on a bike yesterday heading home from work in Wellington heading towards Upper Hutt on the Moonshine bridge. It is still making me laugh at midday the next day so I thought it was certainly worth a mention.

It was last minute - his arm went straight up past his head at full stretch, and his "spirit fingers" hand let loose with absolutely no control at the end of his arm. It was was short, sharp, last-minute and fast with his hand straight back down on the handle bar again that it left me laughing so hard that I cried.

Sir - THAT was an exceptional wave, and I'm sure it must have been the KB special wave as it sure was special. 10 out of 10 for enthusiasm. You made my day (my week even), thank you.
