If you are just riding your ride whether it be a world tour on a CZ 350 or off to the cake stall on your Hayabusa or the myriad of other things that people on bikes do, does it fucking matter...my timeline and choice of bike and attitude toward the knockers sounds much like yours, only mine was a T250...I wave to some and not to others, often it is not noticed by the recipient that the emphasis is on the middle finger...maybe people who have a problem with other cunts hands are not riding fast enough...

To everyone else, they are just brand-snobs.

A few weeks ago I saw a rider on a Suzuki GN coming the other direction and he was furiously waving at me, I had a smile to myself and gave him a friendly nod and wave back. We share a passion for motorcycle riding and shouldn't judge someone for what kind of bike they ride.
Surely Harley and Triumph riders share the passion for motorcycles too?

Although I tend to agree that you can't be bad ass and press a button to start your bike.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

I'm not excluding Harley or Triumph riders at all, I think it' s them that tend to exclude other riders from their "club". People might defend harley riders, you know they can do what they like rah rah rah, whatever the reason, it still comes across as anti-social and as excluding people who don't ride their brand.

It's not a requirement to wave, but it's courtesy to return one.

I find the odd thing about a lot of Harley riders is they thing buying a generic cliché cruiser bike on the basis that someone by doing so someone will think they are badass.
    Is actually somehow rebellious.
I therefor think Harley dealerships should be made to offer "self esteem counselling" pre purchase of all their motorbikes.
    #Note This clearly excludes the XR750 or XR1000 or XLCR1000S plus VR1000's.

Interestingly enough, Harley Davidson offer free new rider training, but they call it boot camp . http://www.harley-davidson.com/content/h-d/en_AU/home/learn-to-ride/bootcamp.html

But I wasn't mentioning Harley riders to be interesting or so you would think I was a badass, although by the mere mention of them knickers dropped all over NZ and I grew a foot taller and suddenly had much more facial hair.....it was just a mere explaination

No doubt the participants make sure the boots for the training are 5 sizes bigger than their actual feet anyway
