TOP QUOTE: “The problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money.”
I was out riding today and called into a kebab shop for dinner before heading home. Parked a couple of spaces along was a nice black Harley something or other.
When I came out the owner and wife turned up and were doing up their gear to hop on, so I went over and we all had a very cordial chat about the great day it was for riding. Nice couple.
As they took off I waved to them, but they had their Harley faces on.......they didn't wave back but.....
Should I be offended??????![]()
I had a whole line of probably patched harley riders coming at em across the desert road. Just to be friendly, I flashed my lights at them a couple of times . Every single one of them waved at me ...
See .. it's not that hard ..

They probably thought that you were warning them of A: A speed camera or B: A cop. After 5 kms at 100 kph and no sign of either and a few choice words directed to the flashing rider 5 km prior, they resumed back into their once happy place.
'' i'd let you touch me.''
Sorry fulla but I am spoken for.
Dilligaf I had to look it up...

I waved so vigourously at the car driver who cut right across me today necessitating much braking then swerving that I hurt my elbow. He did give me a nice apologetic wave back though.
Forget the KB wave. I want one that means "You stupid blind lady's front bottom!"

First decent ride since getting the new bike, a decade since my last long ride and only 2 of about the 30 riders I passed waved back. Did I miss the memo?

Depends where you were riding. Plenty of acknowledgement on the road to Akaroa and back this morning.
