Saw lots of bikes on the Wairoa Rd today, and I think it was damn near a 100% wave rate.
Everyone's wave hand was in overtime.
All must of been well with the world.
Mind you I mostly nodded my head, the vibes off the Duc made me have to use both hands to steady it.

Not exactly a scientific study but I've noticed less ChCh bikers return a wave / nod when I'm on my Harley than when I'm on my Guzzi, and that BMW or classic bike riders ignore me irrespective of bike.
Don't suppose it matters in the grand scheme of things but it's a shame that many are too up themselves for a simple, easy gesture of comararderie.
