Yep well i think it is mainly a misunderstanding between cruiser riders and sportsbike riders... sometimes i think that the cruiser rider would probably not want to wave at me because of my differing taste in bikes... Oh i also use the term sportsbike extremely loosely... So i am unsure whether to nod or not... But i think in actual fact that if you acknowledge them and they don't acknowledge you then it isn't the end of the world... I could think of much better things to complain about - like bloody boy racers driving thier ridiculously powerful rear wheel drive vehicles on thier restricted liscences... or drunk drivers.
Oh yes and i'm told there is a guy down in christchurch who rides a GSXR1000K2 who doesn't wave back but i'm not sure if he exists or is just a myth.

For the amount of discussion it generates, we actually could.

    Here we go again.......

Perhaps the crusier riders have given up waving to sprotbike riders - because none of them will wave back?

The best bet is to ride a bike that doesn't fit into any category. Then you can wave or ignore to your hearts content.

Tell ya what mate, if I see you when I'm down there in a few weeks I'll give you a wave, and if Virago is with me at the time he'll probably wave aswell. Then you can say that atleast two cruiser riders have waved to you.

Oh FFS! I for one am sick and tired of all the shit that gets levelled at cruiser riders and harley riders in particular, all coming from sports bike riders. What is it with you guys?

You don't see cruiser riders harping on at you lot about this that or the other aspect of your chosen style of machine. So what gives?

Fact of the matter is us cruiser riders are more interested in just getting out there and riding than endlessly debating the whereto and whyfores of every aspect of your our daily motorcycling life.

"Oh I got cut off today in traffic, boo hoo poor me"

"Oh some big tough Harley rider didn't acknowledge my meagre existence, bahh wahh"

    Get over yourself FFS.

You wanna know why SOME cruiser riders don't wave? It's 'cause they regard all non-cruiser riders as a bunch of whiny little Rossi wannabe's and can't be bothered with you all.

    some hit a nerve :P

    here's a wee trick.
next time you see a patch member coming towards you . .do the old "one finger in the air whirling around .. indicating a cop ahead"

    He'll acknowledge you then .. bet $10

All they wanted to see were the gloves. They are not waving at you Mr P - they are saying 'those must be the gloves!'

So, I've got a Harley, a Yammi FZR and I ride a Lifan scooter to work.

So, do I wave at every cunt ? Or do I have to remember which bike i'm on?

The real wankers here are those who think that some riders have an attitude just because of what they ride.

Basic Life... some people just have an attitude.. they don't need a reason.. putting em on a bike doesnt help they are still arsholes

So if you give me the finger when I'm on my Scooter.. next time I'm on the Fzr or Harley you better hope I don't catch up.. !

So if you love being on two wheels then wave.. if you don't then don't wave, but be careful with that finger...

cos you may be the one with the attitude and the finger.. but I've got the whole bloody fist and a good history of using it !

DONT JUDGE ME BASED ON MY SCOOT - I JUST MIGHT CATCH UP
David must play fair with the other kids, even the idiots.
