I love laughing at myself I get so much practice.

Back to the wave - nothing worse than the "hurried" wave, where you take your hand off the controls for a second, then realise you need them back on the controls in a hurry.
Yes I know the feeling, especially when you meet a biker coming the other way around a tight corner, I usually just give a nod allo

I am distraught, after all the waving threads I have studiously followed, the hours I have spent in front of the mirror practising my waves, the damage I have done falling off the bike on both sides practising waving and four special waves I have perfected (the Harley one, the sprotsbike one and one each for scummy and Dover).

I find my practice was all for naught.

    You bastards.

I am only going to wave at cars now.

Wasn't asking for anyone to stick their hand up -I don't go around blaming people either - not my bag. Very big of you to say this though.

Squeak/Maverick - here's a novel idea - another thumb control operates a small hand on the front of your bike. 2 buttons - 1st one waves 2nd one delivers the finger. Wave all you like without lifting your hands.

Threads like this are fun - lets us get to know each other and have a laugh.
In space, no one can smell your fart.

'Evolution is not a gradual process. It happens in sudden upheavals in times of crisis and neccessity', said Darcy the cat.

Which was to my graet surprise, as I wasn't aware he could read.

Perhaps new cops should be made to fit an "L-plate" to the back of their uniform???
Mandatory until they have completed 6 months of general duties work, then they can go onto "Restricted"...

We don' need no thought control!

Ahhh damn, and here I thought it was that old high school social experiment called "The Wave". How you can inculcate predatory and discriminatory practises into the minds of people - oh wait, thats KB forums!

Everytime I hear wave, I think of catching a gnarly one! I just do the nod noddy nod thing (though at high speeds, the wind seems to be making me nod involuntary anyhows! ).

Would be great to have one of those huge fingers used at footy/spectator heavy games - whip it out and watch the reaction! :yes

I've just had a great and novel idea.
Why don't we think of a KiwiBiker wave so that we can all recognise each other on the road?

Far more important than breath testing and quotas I would have thought.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.
