I actually think there should be a ban on people posting saying that there should be a ban on the thread topic in which they are posting.

Of course then this very post would be banned too, and would that have the same affect as travelling back through time and changing something, hereby making the ban completely non-existant?

So, seeing as there is now no ban (there was in another dimension for those who missed it):

I rode hung over on Saturday and my reactions were too slow. I missed waving to about 4 other bikers. I feel ashamed. I cancelled my ride and went helmet shopping, but didn't buy one because all the helmets gave me a headache. Sorry if i didn't wave to you.

I have to admit I didn't wave at some sprotbikers on 16 yesterday. In my defence, it was because one of the roadside markers was a bit close to my arm at the apex of the corner and I had to alter my line a tad, I thought waving would be asking for trouble.
I apologise sincerely and most humbly.

    A wave from a motorcyclist

After about a month on my scooter I finally got a wave from a "real bike". When I first started back on two wheels I waved to every other biker I saw, but alas no reply. Well today he waved at me first - I now feel "normal" after being acknowledged as a fellow biker.

If you were riding along Tamaki Dr at about 4.30pm, thanks for the wave

I generally try to give a nod of the helmet to anything on two wheels. Sports bikes, cruisers, scooters, cyclists ... I don't discriminate.

Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Not me but on the way back from Akaroa a few weeks ago a nutter gave me a 'wave' by popping a wheelie - on the open road at 100kms plus.

I'm just jealous as I am too chicken arse to attempt that.........

    Do they still make scooters??????

I nod to everybody on two wheels. Got a nod back. Twice so far.
"People are stupid ... almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

I waved to a scooter on SH 2 yesterday.....Well it wasn't really a wave like seeing the QEII off but more of a hand nod which is what i do when i am feeling generous, instead of a economy nod.......Its all a little technical
