I'd be suprised if they stuffed up the depth holes enough for them to go flat!!
wouldnt realy be a good indication of depth then either!

No good. The Aprillias use a 180 rear. Bigger size range please mister Metzeler. Nice to see a bit of competition against the Shinkos though.

Those are the supermoto rubber from Metz, not for use on a roadracing bike.

When you slide regular tires they have less grip when the rear end is loose but regular tires hold up better when you're riding thru fast corners with the wheels in line.

Bridgestone has supermoto specific tires that are great, they are called BM01Z and BM02Z. Front tires are 16,5" only tho.

About 180's on the aprilia, we change to 165's when we're riding them hard. Theres no reason to use 180's, in fact, they get a little bit to heavy. I tear thru two 180's in one day or one 165 per day, so they dont hold up any better either.

Generally, these supermoto/drift specific front tires are made to run at lower speeds with hard but short braking. I'd choose a RR tire if I take my bike to a RR course
