    RG250 Lub Oil Level

In the absence of a workshop manual, sight glass, dipstick etc, how do I tell when I've got enough oil in my RG250? I'm assuming that the little screw below the oil filler cap should be removed prior to filling and with the bike level, when oil overflows from this hole, there's enough in the motor. Can it be that simple?

Gee why has no one replied.

Yes. It is that simple. But obviously has to be straight & don't go crazy quick. Should never really consume sod all oil.

Sorted it in the end. It was right in front of me and I never saw it! 850ml stamped on the crankcase right next to the oil filler. Jeez, how hard can it be?

Yes, theoretically 850ml will get you close, but there will be some retained in there. Always best to check the level.
