Good on you for quitting and I hope you last the distance. My parents both smoked all their lives, as did all my siblings but smoking never appealed to me. Last night I lost my mother to lung cancer so it appeals even less now. She was only diagnosed 26 October and they told us she had one to four months. Well, we got three fucking weeks with her and that sucks.

I wouldn't wish what she went through on my worst enemy - not even some of you lot on KB! She lost over 30kg in a few months because she couldn't eat or drink without vomiting and in her final days she could hardly even swallow.

Smoking just isn't worth it from my point of view.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    Did you read the book..???

my every waking moment is consumed by the thoughts of cigarettes, not because i want one but because my life was ruled by smoking, i now don't know what the fook to do with all those habitual moments.

I've just done 3 hours at work with an hour and a half Mai Thai lunch... a couple of beers... No cravings!!!.. no bad tempers!!!!

    THIS SHIT IS EASY

I've got a slight head ache and have a tight chest, but huh.. small price to pay.!!

I'm drinking water; Other than than i'm doing NOTHING i didn't do before /./ except of course Smoke! /./

    Bring it on !

hey, Each to there own.. but if your going cold turkey.. DON'T substitute shit for the habitual or addictive 'shit' smoking gave you!

Quite the opposite; throw that shit away, say nah DONT want it, DONT NEED IT ... and be done with it.

Condolences. It's a terrible thing watching a parent die slowly. Been there.
