As long as people realise there is about as much similarity between banging that toy and playing a guitar - as there is playing Tourist Trophy and riding a real motorcycle.....I can set aside 3 years of classical lessons....no I can't.....

Spent the time effort and money on real musical instruments and proper music software pahleeeeese.

I suppose that could be fun too... where do we buy the stuff needed to allow us to use a real guitar, pissed, and have it keep score against our mates?

I haven't seen it, but I very much doubt it would be as entertaining for a bunch of drunk mates... I think you've completely missed the point.

Maybe the other game I linked to might appeal to the purist in you? Sure the guitars are just as 'fake', but the drums, well you've either got it or you don't
