I would like to attend this day, easter saturday, weather permitting of course I will go anyway but it sure would be good to see a few more of you there.
I'm off to the pub, I may be sometime.

Was talking to Keystone19 last night about the Open Day on the 3rd June which is a Saturday, it's part of Queens Birthdays weekend. Funny feeling that hardly anyone will be there that day so more time for the bikes![]()

Anyone else thinking of going/comin up? $90 is good value for the whole day and it could save your life by giving you the op to hone your skills.![]()

Guess I might come along for a look, and if it's not too full, have a ride.
Is it going to be open the whole day? OR one of these BS (edit: 1pm) start things?

Be surprised if they will cover ya for an Open Track Day. But if ya get someone ta say they are Instructing ya, ya might get lucky. Let us know if they do, and which company ya with. Would be very good ta know.Originally Posted by Qkchk

RIB "Classic Cover" cover you on a track day. They will not cover you if you are being timed though. How they can prove this I have no idea.Originally Posted by RiderInBlack
They are a good broker to deal with. Qkchk got her Insurance through Cibby chick but I don't know the details.

It will be one way or the other. Either a shitload or most likely, hardly anyone. All the JAFAs head north on long weekends.........Originally Posted by Toast

Take a note of the indemnity you sign to use the track though - with Frosty's track days you waive your right when you sign the form. It is quite possible you also do this on the form you sign to use Pukekohe (or where ever), I can't remember. Your insurance is unlikely to pay out if it can't recover costs elsewhere. You may find you are in fact not covered.
Have discussed this with a broker recently and he said that it is only considered "Rider Training" if there is instruction occurring as part of the Track Day. Would advise you ta recheck with ya insurer rather than assume you are covered (that fine print can be a prick when the chips are down). I not saying ya wrong, but are you 100% sure you are covered for Puke Open Days?Originally Posted by Qkchk

I doubt that they'd let you on in jeans...maybe if they were Draggins and they knew their stuff...but I wouldn't count on it.Originally Posted by race me!!!!

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
my own fault really.
