    For sale--ZXR750/the green meanie

Yep some lucky sod is gonna end up with the fastest 89 750 on the road.
-I just finished my race budget for this year and well I just cannot afford to run two bikes.
The Green meanie is the nicest bike I have ever ridden but its too darn easy to go fast on it.
. I'm gonna but a more commuter freindly bike hopefully for under a grand and the money from the zxr will go back into the race fund.
The Green meanie is now for sale.
The bike is made up from two bikes
A new zealand market model chasis / electrics, airbox, exhaust. which means its full horsepower
Its fitted with a very low milage jap import motor. I have the instrument cluster to verify the milage the motor has done.
It has had a recent full service at Mt Eden Motorcycles I did some cosmetic damage after my off at pukekohe but all the damaged parts have been replaced.

I will either sell just the bike with new Wof and current rego for $4000

or with a huuge pile of spare parts.
-spare wheels with decent tyres ,disks, calipers a full set of cosmetics that have scuff damage and breakage but are complete as well as the set on the bike. spare muffler. carbs.frame fork lowers.tank, rear footpegs - gee wizz basicly almost a complete spare bike. -thatll cost ya $4500
I'm totally gutted to have to do this but I need the dosh to keep mella yella on the track.

A year from now, I might've bought it. Not the right time now, though.

Mebbe people are just too scared of all these bikes lying down and having a rest in middle o' t'road recently. Perhaps you could advertise the Green Meanie with big sideways pogo springs?

Give us some specs anyway, we're bored. BHP? Weight? What tyres does it have on, with what mileage?

And... how fast does it go, mister?

I would have been interested... If I hadn't bought the GSXR... I'm only allowed a bike every six months, there's a kind of 'Mrs acceptance factor' to deal with here.

I nearly bought half of that bike at one stage anyway...

    Good luck, sedge.

Hmm well tyres wise its on a pet of pirelli demons. Top speed --Now how would i know orificer I only do 100km/h
I was told that it "should" on a closed road under controlled conditions be capable of at least 260km/h but of course I wouldn't know that for sure.
As for milage well ya see --the chasis has done 65000km But the motor and carbies have only done 28000km.
Part of the spares kit is the disks from the engine doner bike -which are barely worn.
The setup shocks wise is a bit weird with a soft front end and a hard rear but the preload is wound all the way up on the rear -i think for a passenger so easy changed

    Come on you pricks!

This is a fantastic machine with much of my own sweat and blood going into assembling it.

It's a bloody tight machine and an absolute bargain.

    I wish I had some money :confused2
